Conering Rewire

Conering Rewire

Does anyone have a write up for the conering light rewire on a 95? I've look and could just find 97 and up.

ya, i actually did the rewire for the corners. there shud be a black wire, a black wire w/ a red line running along it, and a green wire.....i think. cut the wire w/ the red on it and splice it to the green one. shud run bright all the time now.

does the shaving of the nub and flipping the bulb around not work in the 95/96?

i wasn't rilly comfortable w/ that. neway, the rewire is hella ez. so if mah bulb blows or sumthin, i dun hab to cut the nub off again.

I shaved the nub off in like less than 30 secs a side.

I try to avoid cutting wires in my car. But it is your choice.

Shaving is quite easy and quick...just get a good small file.

nah, i did , it works fine, i have a 96 took me longer to get the blub out of the socket.

So you just shave the nub off the side of the metal prtofthe bulb and flip it around in the socket? Does that give the same effect as the rewire?

You can also solder the 2 connections together on the bottom of the bulb.. takes a few seconds... shaving the nub as easy too... no need to rewire

yep, shave the one closest to the bulb and put it in backwrds. done. 1 min, no rewire junk.

or do what i did..if you have a brick house, rub the nub against the brick...much faster than a file
