I did the same thing when I read this the only thing that threw me off is that they said it was dyno tested. Ok we know that they don't give a 5.4 horse gain but do you guys think that they could possibly be better than the NGK's???????????????

The Denso Iridium plug might perform better in a car with a distributor, rotor and wires but the Maxs w/o a distributor will have poor results with Denso Iridiums.

nothing beats the NGKs...iridium is just one proton differential than platinum, and weighs a slight bit less..192.217 vs 195.078, i dont think that little difference in structure of the atom would do much of a difference at all..the only job of a spark plug is too carry and distribute a charge/spark to ignite the engine to make it run and burn fuel..platinum just lasts longer than other plugs, because it doesnt corode as easily, because platinum is a less reactive/corrosive metal, and NGK makes the best platinum plug. Iridium has one less proton to carry the charge on so therefore it is believed to release the spark quicker when in reality, it doesnt, platinum works just as good.
