every time i drive...doesn't matter if i drive hard or not
the engine smells like something is burning...but i dont
see anything when i open the hood...all i have is a monster
flow filter, but it had this smell b4 when i was stock
does any other max smell like that??

Does it come immediately when you start the car or after it has warmed up?

If it's after, then there might be something stuck under the car. My friend had a plastic bag stuck under his car and it smelled like something was burning.

 

An interesting note. I got a big chunk of dead dog innards wrapped around the catalytic on my Toyota Tacoma 4x4. Kept smelling Barb-Q and I couldn't figure it out. Two days that stuff roasted until I took a look.... yeeech....

have you recently have an oil change? could be that they spilled some oil on the engine and causes it to burn off.
