engine swap for maxima

Whats up, im new to the forum and i just had a question, is it possible to swap the 4th gen 3.0L engine for the 5th gen 3.5L. engine. that 2002 maxima is nice, and since i can afford one right now i would love to have at least the engine in my max right now. i like the 3.0L that i have now but there are few mods available for it and i hear that the stillen supercharger isnt too reliable and s#!t. i heard one person sayin stillen didnt even send him all the parts he needed. 255hp all motor fourth gen maxima... id like to see all motor camry's and accord's compete with that.

Sure you can drop the engine in.

Tell us when you're finished and remember to show pics!

It will take money, time, and fabrication but none the less it can be done. I doubt it is "drop-in," and I am sure you would need the matching transmission and possibly a custom ECU. I say go for it and good luck though, and if you do take lots of pics. Everyone on this board will praise you if you can do it.

I wouldn't mind having the new 3.5L 255hp VQ in my SE either, but for now my 3L 190hp VQ at 73.5K still runs as smooth as silk and is just as fast & I'm happy w/ that.
