Question about rear view mirror's.

Hi, I'm obviously a n00b but I hail from Altimas.net.
Anyway, a lot of us Altima guyz have problems with the rear view mirror falling off because of our systems. No matter how many times we glue them back on they fall off again (to much bass). I noticed on my mom's 98' Max that her rear view screws into the headliner.

Here's the question.
I was wondering if all 4th gen's are like this? Is it model specific (GXE, GLE, SE...etc). Do the other Gens of Max's have these?

Any info you can provide me would be greatly appreciated. Got to head out to a junk yard for this.

Thanks!

Re: Question about rear view mirror's.

All the 4th Gen Maximas have the rearview mirror attached to the headliner, regardless of what trim it is. Hope it helps.

yeah, all of them are screwed in but that doesn't keep the mirror from tilting down all the time from the bass.
