I was wondering how to insztall a k n N filter, I mean what to remove to open the airbox. Also, if possible, how do i remove the stock "air silencer", i think that is what its called, it is a black plastic thing that restricts air from going into the airbox, thanks.

 

if it's just the "drop-in" replacement, you open the four clips around the air box, pull the top up, take out the old one, and replace it with the K&N - if it's the cone, then you have to use an adapter to attach it to the MAF - both very easy
