So this is really messed up. For the last week I have been noticing this annoying sound. I figured it was my damn shocks and springs. I just would turn up my music and ignore it. Well today I heard the sound, of course, and looked in my rear view and saw my trunk moving up and down. Not COMPLETLY up, just a little. I figured it was just opena nd would fix it when i got home. I get home and try to close the trunk. No go. I try to open it and the close it, no go. I have my buddy keep the lever pushed as i close or open . No go. so we fold down the middle thing and look in. The cover of the latch is off. The bolts are gone. We try to open it with a screw driver. The thing is, the hook part on the trunk is attached to the part on the car. You cant get them off, and so you cant open the trunk! What the HELL do i do?????????????? I searched and there is nothing like this really. One posts where it says poke it with a screw driver, but the situation was different. HELllllllp

 

take out the rear seat and climb through and see if you can do anything with the latch.

 

But if you take out the rear seat there is till that metal thing that will prevent me for getting to the trunk, or am I wrong?

 

you could be right. i havent really looked into it. might as well check it out though.
