The Warpspeed CAI is the best value going for a complete system. Its just like the Place Racing but it only costs $155.00 including a K&N filter which is like $40 to $50 by itself. And it sounds MEAN.

if you're stick, i'd get a hybrid intake
if you're auto, i'd get a CAI

and that's assuming your car is a daily driver

I ordered a WSP CAI back in Feb but after waiting 6-8 weeks and no delivery I cancelled and ordered a PR CAI from CustomMaxima. I agree probably not much difference especially in the piping but I did want to try out the Monster Filter.

Gearing. The shorter ratios of a 5 speed help to offset the lo end loss of a POP charger, so it can better take advantage of the top end. The auto maxima, with it's relatively widely spaced ratios, would feel the low end loss more . . and longer.

i bought the weapon r dragon intake a year ago and could tell the difference right away. it definately has more 'get up and go' than before. it also lets out a nice little roar when you nail the gas, then again so does a CAI or any of that other stuff. the reason i went with that is because i didn't want to chance the engine taking a big gulp of water then no more go...

A lot of people take the upper tubing of the PR Cai and attach a JWT, K&N, Stillen, Monster Flow filter to it. It's like the one Frankencar is selling.. Gives you the nice roar that a cai wil give you, instead you don't have the lower piping through the wheelwell

I went from CAI to Hybrid. The CAI sounded way better. Nothing can touch the CAI in terms of awesome sound from your VQ
