Exhaust Change... Did You Have Trouble With The Rusted Cat. Converter Bolts????

I cut the ends off the bolts and it still won't budge... Anybody else have that problem??? It also looks like the pipes are rusted together also... I have a 97 and I can't believe the rust!!!

The O2 sensor is 60ish online. Use an open end wrench next time for the O2 sensor. I used breaker bars and couldnt take those two bolts off so I ended up with air tools

The sensor was no good anyway. The rust was horrible.

Did you cut the bolts?

no sir. I soaked the bolts at intervals, then took it to the exhaust shop and had him put an impact wrench to it. I think it was pretorqued to 150ish.... They came write off.
