Moderators: Addition to Spring Noise Thread

Would it be possible to add to the spring noise thread that KYB front strut mounts should NOT be purchased. I along with exhip95 had a crunching sound after installing new shocks, springs, and KYB front strut mounts. amb4081 had the same problem as well, but after replacing his KYB front strut mounts with OEM mounts his noise has subsided. I had condemned the mounts a while back, but due to the extra cost have decided to live with the noise for a while longer. However, I would strongly advise anyone who is even considering buying the KYB mounts to spend their money elsewhere. I also feel that the KYB front strut bearing may be of lesser quality than OEM bearings, but on the contrary the KYB dust boots seem to be made of better material than OEM dustboots.
