anyone put a BLUE LED behind their BOSE?

has anyone tried to put a blue LED bulb behind the BOSE faceplate?is this possible to do? if so, how so?

i have done the disc light already that was a direct replacement with a radioshack 276-316 (or 311 depending on what blue you want) and i have the leds ordered to do all the others... use a regular 276-311 behind it with a 270ohm resistor and it will work fine (if you use a 276-316 you will ahve to use a higher resistor as they are only 3.7v vs. the 5v of the 311's)

p.s those part numbers are radioshack #'s for 5mm blue leds
