I want to get a intake for my 95 max. People say that the 95 and 96 have a temp sensor, that the 97 and 99 don't have. I want to get a pop charger, but i don't know where to put the sensor. I don't wanna get the stillens cuz of price and i know they have a location for it. But like a jwt pop charger or something without a place for the sensor. Where should i put it?

 

just put the sensor inside the cone..and tape it or something as long as air is passing the sensor...

 

thanks for posting the question, because I have one too. I have a 97 and am wondering where I put my little sensor. I don't remember having it laying around when I did a POP before. I took the scoop out and I don't know where it went or where to put it.

 

so tape the sensor on the filter from inside the cone?

 

try to mount the sensor in such a way that it is getting air pulled across it that is going into the intake. My stillen cone has a location for it at the very end of the cone. I've seen people just zip strip (tywrap) the sensor right beside the filter. I've seen people dangle them inside the filter too. I wouldn't recommend putting it inside. I just don't like the idea of something obstructing air flow inside the intake. My .02 HOpe this helps. Just make sure you hook the sensor up - if you don't you'll get the CEL.
