Throttle Rotor & Altezza lights
Throttle Rotor & Altezza lights
I want to get a throttle rotor installed to increase the throttle response of the engine. Weapon-r sells Billet Throttle Rotors that increase the throttle response by 50% mainly for Hondas. They don't have them for Maximas, but does anyone know if they can still work or where I can get one for the Maxima?
For the Altezza lights, does anyone know if the they can be taken apart completely? I mean every single piece taken apart so that the ugly metal part can be painted the same color as body color. I have asked many people, but they don't know what I am talking about. So here is a picture that I have rendered with Photoshop to give an idea. Thanks,

Go to the test forum and read on the websites where you can host pictures.

All a "throttle rotor" does is increase the angle of your throttle plate in correspondence to your gas pedal..
ie - Step on the pedal 1/4 the way opens the throttle plate 1/2 way.
Save your $$$$ and step on the gas harder yourself.
Chevy was famous for this on their V6 Cavilear Z24. Made it feel VERY powerful with just a push of the gas pedal, but the further you went down with the gas, nothing more came... That was because by 1/2 way down on the gas pedal, you were almost at WOT.
Good old American Engineering there.

Do a search on the Altezzas. Its been done, but instead of taking them apart and painting the Chrome, they just paint the clear plastic the same color as the body So they look kind of like Skyline lights. Heres the link on how to do it
