Finally Bought It!!

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to say hi! First post today even though I have been lurking around as a guest for a while.

Well yesterday my wife and I finally chose the Maxima over the TL!! and are quite happy!

Pleased to let you all know that we now have a '99 SE, auto, Silver, 32K miles, Leather, Roof, Heated seats, etc etc in the driveway. Got it from VOB Nissan in Rockville, MD (btw great dealership).

From my research the price of $16,700 seemed very reasonable. Also included was a 4yr/48 bumper to bumper warranty!! What do you guys think?

Couple of questions:

1/ What do you guys recommend I use for buffing up the leather? Which products work well... I have heard of some horror stories so want to be careful.

2/ Any suggestions for improving the suspension?

3/ Anyone know of a good window-tinting place in the DC area?

Thanks all,

Arif

Tons of suspension goodies out there. Do a search on this forum you'll find lots of good stuff.

And welcome to our community.

1. I just bought some Meguiars Leather Cleaner and Conditioner, I haven't had the time to use it yet, but I'll let ya know how it turns out. Anyone have any experiences with it?

2. FSTB, springs, shocks, lots of material on the board for suspension

3. Might wanna check in the regional forum, they might be able to point you to a nice place

I have a '97 Max 5-spd & a '96 3.2TL auto. The Max is totally fun to drive w/ no stop & go traffic (90% of my driving). The 3.2TL is comfy but I think it's a sofa on wheels. The rear springs are WAY too soft.

Their is a tint shop on route 1 in College Park couple miles up from the U.of Maryland, near the shoppers foodwarehouse, and Ihop. Their is an exit just one light down, can't miss it! Exit to College Park.
$160.00 lifetime, if you don't like it take it back, they also do one piece for the rear window. Look for the Rim(yellow building), bike, and audio(house w/yellow sign) all together in one spot.
Weekdays are best to go, too many people on the weekends!

Thanks for your help guys

I ended up using the Lexol cleaner and conditioner this past weekend. Seems to have worked just fine.

Will be calling the tinting place in MD tonight....

Thanks,

Arif

P.S. Is the install on the sway bars pretty easy or would i need professional help?
