I'm going to swap out the automatic transmission fluid tomorrow and need help. How many quarts and what type do ya'll recommend?

If you are using a professional Magic Sucker Pump you need ten quarts. If you are doing a driveway drain-and-refill you need five quarts. You might not need all five, but have them on hand. Let the dipstick be your guide. Do not overfill.

Nissan recommends Nissan Matic D Automatic Transmission Fluid. They also authorize use of Dexron III / Mercon ATF. In my opinion, all major brands of ATF are good quality.
