seems like my car is getting pure **** for MPG....seems like its been like this since i installed the DIY intake....everything is hooked up right....well, what can be possible causes of poor mpg? ...i dont really push my car that much, so its not because of that....any suggestions?

 

what are you getting?..could be some clogged filters, something you're overlooking with the intake, faulty sensors, lots of stuff...need a little bit more info i guess, but particularly, what are you getting?

 

i havent calculated a full tank, but half a tank, i got around 18 or so....im gonna try fuel filter and oil change first, (because i need those anyways)....and also, if that doesnt solve it, im gonna try cleaning the throttle body, then i dunno after that.....also the other day, i had rough idling, about 500 rpm's....so thats why i wanna change my oil and such...it only happened for a few seconds tho, then went away

 

18 isnt TOO far off from normal. maybe you're just subconsiously getting on the gas a little harder now that you have the intake because you like the new noise.

 

well ive had the pop charger intake for almost a year now, and only for a month or 2 ive had the hybrid setup, so the noise is nothing new....thats what im guessing it is tho....im gonna try going very ligt on the gas in the next few days see whats up
