pimpin aftermarket horn....install question.

i bought this looouuudddddd a$$ horn from this shop in chi-town but when i installed it i guess it work for a couple of horks but then it died. i wired it to the old horn by the windshield wiper fluid.i think a fuse blew but i couldn't find out which one.
i then tok the horn and wired it DIRECTLY to the battery..man big mistake..the horn worked but i went deaf for two days...forget about it. anyways what happend to the original horn why isnt it working now there isnt a fuse blown at least in the fuse compartement inside the ride.i guess the horn draws too much power.i'm out peace

I don't remember, but isn't there a fuse in the engine compartment fuse box?....I would check that.

BTW, you have two horns on a 4th Gen, one in front of the radiator and one to the left of the engine. Disconnect both and try the other horn again, and replace the "blown" fuse with a stronger one.

Read the FAQ above and I answer which fuse probably blew when hooking up aftermarket horns.

You will need a relay and run your own wires. The new horns are drawing to much current.
