Dumb question about PR Upper Intake Pipe...

How can I get this piece from Place Racing? I've done a search, and all I found was that Place Racing sells it but their web site is not ready. Custommaxima.com does not sell just the piece either. Can somebody just tell me where I can purchase it? Thanks in advance.

are you talking about the piece for the popcharger, or the piece for the actual CAI...if yor talking about it for the pop, then you can get one from Frakencar (dunno if its out yet), or you can get one off a seller from ebay, or you can build it yourself

I am talking about the piece for the pop-charger. I don't really have the time to make one, and e-bay is usually just a pain in the a**, so I was looking to only pay like 60 bucks or so for a good one.

a guy from ebay sells them only w/the k+n filter...if you email him, he can send you the upper piece for i believe $50....also, check out www.frankencar.com (i think), and see if they are selling theirs yet...and the DIY one....only took me and a friend around 30-45 minutes to make it, and it works great...you should relaly look into it, and it only costs around $15-20

I just don't want it to be a huge hassle for me. If it only takes like 15-20 minutes like you say, then I think it would be worth it, but if its going to be an extended thing, I would rather just spend the money.

Well if it's not too big a problem it'd be great for you to send them to me. Either post them on here or I can give you my e-mail address. Either way works for me.

Alright thanks a lot! And the Y-pipe and intake is great! Worth every penny. You feel a lot more low-end power lag, but as for the high end, its incredible. I wouldn't trade the combo for anything. Really good for highway races too.

ack...does the low end loss get made up from the mid-high end gain in 1/4 mile?

Well I have yet to go to the track, but when I am just out driving or even racing, it starts out slow but then the high end power kicks in and pulls hard. So I guess the answer to your question would be yes.

Another option

I believe Warpspeed sells just the upper pipe if you want another option.
