Aftermarket wood kit & dash removal

My SE has the aftermarket kit that was an option offered by dealerships at the time of the sale. It's the stick-on kit that just fits over the existing vinyl. I'm looking at removing my Bose HU soon, and was wondering, do I have to take the wood kit off separately, and then go about removing the center pieces? I think I do...
and also, if so, will I need adhesive to stick the trim back on over the vinyl? What kind of adhesive would be best if needed?

Thanks to any posts in advance

Use fishing line to slide the piece off and clean completely with rubbing alcohol or Goo-Gone ( hardware or auto parts bought) and then use #M adhesive...it is the best. I have used it on many items with no complaints.

You DO NOT need to take the wood trim off to take the dash pieces out. Those dash pieces just snaps in. Those wood trim can not be reuse once they are removed, so DON'T REMOVE THEM.
