I just about finished assembling my pacesetter sts. I tested it out, and I noticed that when you move it to the right to switch to 5th, it doesn't come back to nuteral. I only replaced 1 spring underneath. What makes it return to nuteral?

Seriously is it that big of a deal? Mine does the same thing both ways (1-2 and 5-R), and it hasnt bothered me at all.
