Will a cone filter increase my horse power by much?

I was using your picture for the basis of installing the same hybrid intake that I bought from DOHCCIVIC from ebay. It came with one blue hose. Aren't you supposed to have two? They seem hard to get into the engine hole too. I took my whole stock intake out and had to put it back on b/c I don't think I have enough hoses??? Your picture also has a black cap on one of the outlets. Did it come with your purchase?

The black cap came from Autozone. It is necessary if you own an automatic. It replaces the blue hose that came with the intake. As far as additional hoses, you will need to purchase longer hoses from your local auto parts store. The stock hoses are not long enough. It is 5/8" OD heater hose. Feel free to call if you have questions.

Thanks, Ryan

Thanks for the info. I'll be headed to the auto store tonight and picking up a couple hoses. Why the hell does the guy give you a blue hose that doesn't fit?

The blue hose actually fits... It just fits the Transmission cooler...
If you have an Automatic, or an early model 5spd, it doesn't come equipped with a tranny cooler.

Is this what I need? Again, I have a 98 automatic. What about the adapter? I don't see anything about the adapter with this...

I am really new to this mod stuff (I've never added any mods to a car before).

Is the adapter something I need to buy seperately?

You will have to pick up 3 feet of 5/8" OD heater hose from your local parts store. You'll also need a 3/8" Heater/type plug from your local parts store. This plug will cover the hole where the blue tubing comes off the mid-section (aluminum) pipe. The set includes everything else you will need. Feel free to call me with any questions you have. I'd be happy to walk you through the install as well... It's really an easy mod. You'll feel good after doing it.

Yep, thats what you need. Just buy the hoses separately like I did and hook it up...
