Autometer response to pillar pod inquiry

I sent a note to Autometer who had confirmed supply of the 20802, (dual pillar pod for the 4th Gen) prior to my order from as local shop. I was assured there was ample supply top ship out right away...well a month of bugging the shop produced my e-mail to the company to find out what happened in hopes of some type of explanation...here is their reply:

Unfortunately, the 20802 is not available for shipment at this time. We
sincerely apologize for the confusion and our apparent mistake in confirming
stock on this part. Our last shipments on this part were in April.

Due to an overwhelming demand over the last few months on our entire gauge
pod line, many "low demand" items, such as the 20802, have suffered major
delays in stock replenishment.

We expect at this time that we will have stock again on this part by late
June/early July.

If you are able to confirm stock through another dealer, we highly recommend
purchasing it from them at this time.

Thank you,
Matt Martin

FYI, Greg at CustomMaxima.com stated he has 60 in stock and has purchased all that Autometer had in stock last batch so if you cannot buy used, you will probably only find it there.
