From: "2001-2002 Sport Coupe Comparison Test, First Place - 2002 Acura RSX Type-S"
Author: Brent Romans & Liz Kim
"The RSX dominated the acceleration tests, earning a 0-to-60 time of 6.7 seconds and going past the quarter-mile mark in 15.2 seconds at 92.7 mph."
So you might run a 15.2 stock in the quarter mile. But you might get your a$$ handed to you as well

But that's funny how we both came up with different times. But I guess that is real world, cars will run different times for different reasons.

I am not impressed w/ the RSX. Their #'s are similar to a 4th gen 5-speed max, the only difference is they are ugly. The integra was a better looking car. I raced one before any mods and we were dead even. He had some kind of exhaust. I would expect more from a light two door "sports car".

In the June Edition of Sport Compact Car they did a test of seven tuners for the RSX. They ran a 15.0@94.5 stock. Did anyone notice that on the DC sports rsx it had a intake, header and exhaust and it only ran a 14.9

My friends Civic has Intake, Headers, Exaust and it didn't make all that much of a difference. $1000 bucks worth of parts made him about as fast as an SI.

Go to www.clubRSX.com and look at their OFFICIAL FASTEST 1/4 MILE TIMES thread.
14.61 is the quickest MODDED N/A RSX out there. Thats weaksauce if you ask me... give me an ITR any day.

Well I have seen a slow one, which I beat in a race on the superstreet tour last year. I have also seen one that had a FMIC and a smaller pulley.
Don't know what it ran in the 1/4 but it was fast.
Supermachcoman- I just clicked your sig pic and that was the funny and worthwhile

You know what, you might me right. My brother is huge into Hondas for a while now. I have heard him say this for years. I just recently started tuning my I30t so am new to this myself. He has put a lot of dough int to his 94 accord EX and I still blow his doors off. You hear something enough and you start to believe it. The more I learn about Hondas the less I like them, some exceptions, the S2000 and NSX.
