if you want it to shine, use a fine grade metal mesh type of material and wipe the lenses with it a few times - they'll look like brand new

Don't listen to this guy - wait or search for some real answers.

Yet another post that isn't even related to the question

This has been discussed before, but I don't remember exactly what was said. I believe if you take out the headlights and use a cleaning solution it should help clean things out, but you have to make sure that you wash the cleaning solution out very well. Otherwise you might ignite the cleaner from the high temperatures of the headlights.
If you want to try cleaning the outside of the headlights a fine grade steel wool (0000) might work well, but I've also seen cleaner waxes do a good job.

The steel wool (0000) idea is new to me and might be worth a try to get the powdered remains of a light bulb that had exploded in the housing.

Will you do everyone a favor and JUST STOP POSTING?

Wow, you must be the authority when it comes to cleaning headlights.

It's odd because in one one thread regarding cleaning headlights when steel wool came up, you were against using steel wool, and suggested dipping the PLASTIC lens in bleach

Then for some reason you back-pedaled, and suggested the steel wool on PLASTIC lens.

a similar, in fact the exact same question was posted about 2 weeks ago, and many people responded with the same answer
Stop exaggerating. I did a search on "steel wool" and found two guys explained their experiences with steel wool on their cars. This guy used steel wool on his car windows. In another thread it actually scratched up his windows. A couple "blurbed" it out but did not explain how. In the remaining threads that popped out from the search, people suggest using it, but did not personally use steel wool themselves- and it was on headlights with plastic lens.

So because of the above examples you are now an expert? Obviously you don't know WTF you're talking about so why even post? It's given that using steel wool on headlights is foreign to him, so why did you just write:
if you want it to shine, use a fine grade metal mesh type of material and wipe the lenses with it a few times - they'll look like brand new
with absolutely no explanation/how-to? What good does your stupid one-liner do? Why don't you elaborate on how to clean the headlights?

Do you need time to do a search so you can reword what another person wrote?

Again, do you post based on your own actual experience? (no). Or do you just like to reword someone else's reply in the same thread (yet again - first thread- nigelcmf then triax37 in the second thread )to raise your stupid count? (yes).

TRY PLEDGE OR A SIMILAR FURNITURE POLISH. IT IS THE BEST THING TO GET HAZE OR FINE SCRATCHS OUT OF THE PLASTIC. BASICALLY THE SAME THING AS WAXING A DULL CAR.
