Noise Level with the Hobbs off...

For a few days I've driven around with the detached the vacuum hose to the Hobbs switch and I noticed how progressively noisy the pump gets. It got me so annoyed that I had to reattachd the hose. I did notice how the engine became more responsive with the pump always on.
There must be a solution to this...

Sure... Do what I'm doing:

Buy a Walbro 255lph HP fuel pump and SARD FPR... I haven't put them in yet cuz I'm waiting for my FP gauge for the SARD.

In the past, I hooked up a switch inside the cabin to turn it on full time or default (Hobbs activated).
