best way to paint mesh valence?

The first time i primed/painted my mesh valence i just went to pepboys and got myself the closest match white color paint to my car. Over time it seem to have faded or just wasn't as bright as i wanted it to be.

So question is...should I buy the OEM spray paint and put that ontop of the prime.... or should i just get some glossy/shinny white paint to put ontop of the prime?

any experiences..? thanks.

Spray clearcoat on it so the finish won't dull over time.
