kinda similarly priced I'd drive an Acura Legend (94-95 GS Cpe 6speed) Lexus SC400, Acura TL, ummm... hmmm not many other cars haha... the new GTO hell yea! Holden of Australia makes some kickazz cars!
overall I cant see a car that would 'replace' the Max, only others I would drive in addition to the Max.

I honestly was sorta offered a BMW 330CI and I said that I was happy with the Max... didnt want anything new

Maxima was a great car but I don't think I'll be going back to Nissans.

Out of all the japanese cars, I'd stick with Nissan. I won't be buying any more Honda's, that's for sure. I think everyone here knows what I really want though

Yes, I'd definitely drive something else, but I'd have to have a good reason. My family has had a 280Z, a Pathfinder, an Infiniti J30, an I30, and of course a Maxima in it. Not one of these cars ever had a notable problem. The only one I can even think of is the thermostat broke in the Pathfinder and it started to overheat, but luckily it didn't. And that was at around 90K miles.

My other car is a 1985 Jeep CJ-7, which I've nearly rebuilt, but I work on that car much more then I drive it.

My goal, after business school, is probably a 6spd G35 daily driver, and a used Corvette for the weekends. But it'll be awhile before I can afford that.

I'll probably drive the Max till the wheels fall off. I am incredibly frugle (read cheep) which is a hard trait to mix with a love of cars. The Max has squeezed only one $15 dollar mod out of me, which can be seen in my sig. The jeep is another story.

It's so much fun, and its easy to work on which makes it rather rewarding. But then alot of stuff breaks, so whatever. Right now, I'm a little tired of it. It keeps eating ignition coils, and I've replaced the wiring, so I don't know whats going on. But its still running on the original motor with 197,000 miles on it. Not bad for an AMC

Sorry for the OT

I would just want a few things.

Black leather interior
0-60 5.0 or less.
AWD
Looks Pretty
Under 40k

Hmmm...the Evo VII seems to fit this quite nicely. (Don't know about the black leather seats though, but there's always some Sparco seats. : )

I'm up when .....

The new 5 series hits the market. And I'm waiting to see if BMW is really going to put that V-10 in the new new M5. If so, I'm putting everything on hold for it.

E55. i would pick the S55, or an sl 600. i would also trade my max for a custom shelby that i drove today at work. or a new viper.

The only non-Nissan car I would buy is BMW M3. Other than that I am not interested. I would rather mod my Max more or find a way to import a Skyline or buy a G35. My Nissan's have treated me well, why switch?

the old RX-7

Geez the old Rx-7 93-95, did 0-60 in 4.9, and topped over 160mph... Is the new one going to have the rotary motor?

Nope, a v-6 will be put in it's place. Much more reliable and lasts a LOT longer!

Whats wrong with VW's ???
ill prefer to drive the new W8 4-motion passat which is almost as luxrious as the audi A6 and as fast as both the bmw 5-series and audi S6 so do not mess with the germans cause the brought out the new lamborghini which is faster than the old one made by the italians
