What are the actual times of an I30t
This is something I can't get good info on.
I own a 96 I30t 5 speed. Every 0-60 and 1/4 mile time I have seen printed for an I30t is for the automatic. It seems forgotten that the I30t's standard equipment comes w/ an 5-speed. My car is comparable to a 96 Max SE which from what I have read is 6.6 and 15.2 respectively. Can I use those for my stock times as well? I would think my car is not as fast due to an extra 150 lbs of sound deading material and some other weight additions. My guess would be is an 96 I30t 5-speed is a few 10ths of a second slower than 96 Max SE 5-speed. If any one knows the exact numbers for my car I would like to know what they are and where they can be found. Thanks

If ya plan on putting those times up for yourself or telling someone else those are your times then I would suggest that yu go to the track and try and run them yourself cause more than likely im guessing here but you havent taken your car to the track and more than likely you wont be able to post those times on your first try unless your a natural John force or some **** so go to the track and get your own times dont use the manufacturers times

Your right. I know they are not realistic times but I wanted to know for a few reasons. One, because I have never seen it printed and just am curious to what was ran w/ a pro driver. Two, for example, if I knew what Car&Driver ran with a 96 Max 5spd and what they ran with a 96 I30t 5spd there is a ligitament comparison. I'll never know my stock time because I have done a few mods and did not go to the track first. My stock intake is 800 miles away at my brothers house where I accidentaly left it. I also have 17" wheels and an STS, but I don't know if they make a real difference? Three, I was hoping someone with my some 96 I30t 5spd would share what they ran so I might have some ballpark figure. I plan on going to the track on the 11th with some guys from the Chicago area and I'll post my times.
