1/4 mile dilems with times

question here

I had 60ft times of 1.7 and 2.0 and 2.1 in the 50ft and around 6.1-6.2 in the 300ft. But my ET was 15.1 and around 91 mph. Will a B pipe help even out these times? People told me that with 60ft times like these I should be well into the 14's.

here are my times per pass

60ft 330 ft 1/8 1k 1/4@mph
2.3562 6.5608 10.0313 12.9972 15.4981@90.7046 5:36pm
1.7222 6.5354 9.9970 12.9493 15.4472@90.8269 5:53pm
2.0667 6.5243 9.9727 12.9193 15.4660@85.5773 5:59pm
2.3394 6.4794 9.9048 12.8396 15.3236@91.0861 6:16pm
2.2977 6.3902 9.7993 12.7093 15.1781@91.6868 7:41pm

Are you running slicks? If not, that 1.72 60' time is a timing messup, as is that 2.06 unless you are God. A 2.06 MIGHT be possible, the closest I've ever seen is a 2.09, and I've only seen that once (from a Maxima).

To illustrate my point, if I had pulled a 1.7 60' time when I was bone stock, I would have run at or around a 14.0 (14.8 @ 92.6 with a 2.21 60' is what I actually ran).

Honestly I think something was wrong with the timing equipment.

I was running with 14psi on kumho tires. I was racing a Vette on that same heat and he got a 1.9 I remember both of us popping out at the same time and being a head a little bit. But I don't know for sure. I also tried the shallow stagging technique, so maybe that could've helped me a little. But you are probably right about the timing being off. But isn't all of that automated?

Yeah Louie,
Going w/ what Nealoc said, I looked at my time slips from Capitol and it does make sense, when you compare all the numbers, that the 60 foots are wrong. Look at your other slips from other nights and you'll see that your 1/8 miles are off considering your 60 foot times. Your 1/8 times look consistent w/ 2.35s or higher 60 foots.

Understood. I went back and looked at the other times for people in that same lane. All the 60ft were off. I fell better knowing that my car is just slow, not all f-ked up.
