Blue Dash Lights, need help =/

Well today, I finally decided to change my dash light to blue. So the process was pretty easy, take out dash blah blah blah, change the 5 bulbs and put back together. I did this during the day of course so I couldn't really see how it came out, but then just a few hours a go (night), I turned my lights on, and there I saw sort of a disappointing scene. The whole left side (fuel and speedometer gauge) seemed to be perfectly fine, looked like a nice blue, exactly what I wanted. But teh right side (RPM and temp gauge) were almost like diffeent colors, the RPM gauge looked almost purple, and the Temp. Gauge was a little more bluish, but not as blue as the left side. Is there something in the dash I should know? Did I do anythign wrong? The bulbs are brand new and work perfectly fine. Tomorrow I'm going to change the bulbs just incase and see what happend. Any ideas or comments would be nice. thanks in advance

what bulbs you using? anyway, even quality bulbs, that could happen. same thing happened to me once. I had prolorg blue. mine happened to the left side. yeah, like yours, mine was purple. I took them out trying to see what's wrong. Since nothing wrong, I put them back and they become blue again. I still don't know what's wrong. my guess is because of my dirty hand (cuz I think I clean the bulbs before putting them back). another guess is that the bulbs need time to "settled" (maybe the heat and the paint will produce some chemical reaction or something causing the paint to change). so, i suggest take out the bulbs and wait for some times and put them back and make sure you use some clean tissue when inserting the bulbs.
if you use cheap bulbs, you got some problems. the color will not distribute evenly cuz of the sh**ty paint. moreover, they fade after 3 days. I still like my prolorg bulbs, the color will never fade. and they last a year now.

I was told the prolorg bulbs turned out purpe and then fadedto blue later. I got a set though and put them in my door lights and they are like blue-green so i hand tinted them with purple and now they are royal blue. They only problem is tht they give off less light so I wouldnt put them in my gagues. Has anyone used regular LED's, not like the 194 replacements? I'd like to try that.
