Completed Home Depot Grill
Grills look great
I am on my second grill, btw I painted it chrome with 4 coats of clear coat, and it is cheapest fun mod I have done to date.
the hardest part is cutting the mesh so that you do not have any jagged edges and it lines up properly.
Wal mart has wire that is used to hang pictures which works awesome to secure the grill.
The wire is thin enought that it cannot be seen and it holds the grill securely.
There is another type of mesh which you can find in the construction aisle where they have all of the masonry products. It comes in larger sheets but it also has larger holes.
I just built a house and we had some in the construction dumpster which I was going to grab and make a grill out of.
I was curious to see how the alrger holes will look.
Anyhow, sorry this was so long, I have been real busy and have not been able to mod my car too much!

For the 95-96 maximas with mesh grilles, has anyone thought of placing the 2002 Altima Nissan Emblem on the mesh instead of the stock Maxima Nissan emblem. How would it look? The reason I bring it up is because the Altima's Nissan emblem is larger. Maybe better looking? Does anyone still make these mesh grilles for the 95 nad 96 maximas? I don't know if drivingmax98 (correct member name?) still makes them. I just don't have the time.
