Progress Springs and AGX's *PICS*

I installed Progress Sport springs and KYB AGX's on my car a few weeks ago, and I finally have some pics. Sorry to the people with a slow connection, pics are kind of large. Enjoy...

Looks nice, I like the color of your car a lot. I have the progres and tockicos on my 96. One thing I cant figure out is what made them pick aqua? Seems like spring and shock makers go out of their way to pick the ugliest possible colors to make their products. I have a light color car and very open 17" rims. I had to paint the springs and shocks with flat black spray paint before the install to avoid looking like an idiot with aqua and blue flashing threw the rims.

It looks like your back end sits up higher than the front. Arnt the springs 1.5" front, 1.7" rear? Or was it the other way around....
My progress springs are cut a bit and it made the back end sit a little lower to even things out.

Still, looks nice

Im not totally sure how much was cut, since I had a shop do it...I think maybe half a coil or so.

The drop is approx 1.7 inches in front and 1.5 inches in the rear...the back sits ever so slightly higher than the front...the rake is not as extreme as a Sprint drop......I am VERY happy with this setup

I guess every one has their own view on when "a little" becomes to much. For me any aqua and bright blue on a tan car was way too much. Like I said in my post, some rims show a lot more of the suspention then others. The thick spokes and tires on the stockers do a good job of covering them up.

I was thinking about lowering my max too. Was cutting the stock spring cheap? Is the ride quality as good as stock? Is it recommended? To me that option looks favorable. To change the springs and shocks and have them installed would be around $700.

BTW, I also installed new KYB dust boots. The stock dust boots, after 55k miles were COMPLETELY trashed...cracking and falling apart...I recommend everyone get the KYB dust boots...

thanks...you have just inspired me to get that setup. i have been trying to compare setups and this one seems to be the best looking and the best price. do you plan on keeping the stock wheels?

I have the AGX's set on 2/4 and the car rides really smooth, much more firmer and controlled...but you will feel more bumps in the road...

I like the higher back end look, Reminds me of the older hot rods!

How is the ride with those springs?

Also you go to rutgers? I should check out your car I'm pretty close to there.
