Pacesetter Problem ??

Alright it was installed when my clutch was put in and Its a really far reach cause its way to far up..>In other words its towards third gear when really its in nuetral...I lifted up the plastic to see if its in backwards and its not..the bar bends back toward the rear of the vehicle..all the gears shift alright its just far up...If i were to shift fast into 3rd (cant yet, new ACT) I whould hit the front of the plastic...I need some advice, maybe it needs an adjustment

well, mine is pretty far up, but it doesnt hit the plastic... Maybee its because its set at the shortest throw, so it doesnt move very much.
