That doesn't look like a good fit at all. Tell me you don't see the edges bulging out. The hood can't even close properly. It's like they forced the headlights in there. Look closely and you'll see that the upper and lower halves of the grille don't exactly match up. If I'm going to pay over $265 plus for lights like these, I would at least make sure they look decent. With the way that the lights are set up in those pics, you, my friend, are looking to get laughed at.

That's because the ones in the pictures are photoshoped / not completed. They should take a list of all the people spewing criticism at their attempts and refuse sale to em .. I'm sure when these things are done, they'll be done right.

However, you notice that they're already taking order, right? It common sense to wait until you see the final product before advertising to the public. At least make the dang thing look decent. Rather than misleading potential customers.

Someone tell me how you can tell they are photoshoped? It looks like original pictures of a bad idea. I noticed that they are trying to hold the corner lights in place.

If that was an actual installation, then that'll look freakin sweet.

However I'll have to agree w/ the fact that pic was photoshopped

ok nevermind about the photoshop question, I see how obvious it is. I also want to say that who ever said that is a sweet instal uses the term sweet way too loosely. If you want an E36 sell your max and get a real one. If you want projectors, dont make it look so similar as the car you stole the parts from.

Wow, I had no idea this thread was about my product!

Unibomber - Grill doesn't fit because its not done.

lowfunds69 - Yup - Photoshop

maxima4me - Thanks

athlon omega - Hmm...(Newbie Comments) Hood was open on purpose Not finished yet...

ereet - Thanks...we just refused someone yesterday who wanted to contact our supplier directly...

athlon omega - Taking orders??? Newbie - Only taking orders and shipping on 3rd Gen and BMW E-36...NO 4TH OR 5TH GEN ORDERS HAVE BEEN TAKEN OR PLACED

SLC I30t - We were trying to block the light of the corner bulb, it was making the picture blurry...the second pic on the 3rd gen is without anyone holding (or blocking anything)

Wht98SE - It looks even better in person - Yes that one was photoshop'd

SLC I30t - Your oppinion (but I'm sure if we made them for the I-30 you'd sign up)

gtr_rider - Thank you, could not have said it better myself.

For more info please do one of two things:

1. See original thread: http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....hreadid=125874

2. Go to the website: http://www.eden.rutgers.edu/~ferraris/eyes.html

Thank you,
Erik

I would be interested in projector headlights if they didn't look like quick rip of another car. A combo like the ones on Audi A4, or maybe an ES300 or J30? The fact that they look so obvious of their origin makes it look less than desireable in my opinion. As much as I admire your willingness to create parts for our cars, I believe that the true creation is where the juice is.

I agree, however, people are saying $265 is too much for a set of headlights can you imagine what they would say for a set that is original but costs over $500?

I'm not sure if you are rolling your eyes at me or that most of the .org patrons are plainly cheap and whine a lot? I agree that most people would sell their car rather than pay out the money to have original mods. Maybe in another forum we can talk about this further. I don't want to keep this thread on a tangent.

The lights look good, rip or not. I'd buy em, provided you can show how well they preform when they are ready. Considering the pain staken effort you've already put into letting everyone know in plain English that these lights ARE NOT ready for the 4th generation yet, I definately see you providing all the necessary proof/evidence of there performance and fit. To each its own, but I see you recieving many orders.

all i wanted to do in this thread was to let people who didnt already know what the 4th gen cars "MIGHT" look like with projectors. This was in no way an advertisement for the stuff nor was it an invitation to flame, make fun of anyone or anything

any kind of headlight mod that might make the 4th gen crappy light dispursement look ANY better should be shown no matter what price, because it gives people hope MUHAH

If we did it real well you guys would say we are trying to pass it off as real...it was just meant to show what it will look like...basic cut and paste. {For people who don't know what it is supposed to look like}

Erik

Edit - I am not wasting bandwith to reply to your next post. Very, very childish.

If the final product is going to fit the stock headlight mounts without modifications to the grill, then im sure it'll look great. Just out of curiousity, are you going to use a stock 4th gen headlight housing, or modify the Bimmer one to fit? I hope you are using the originals, so the fit will be perfect.

ummm there is a company that already makes the bmw e36 halos ... for bmw but since the light swap is easy for third gen wouldnt it make sence to just get the ones that are made for bmw's ?

i believe the company is Inpro. and a real set of angel eyes off of the 5 series is more then 500, but the difference with the inpro and the real 5 series lights are more than distinguishable.

Angel eyes are played out now , even civics have them =P

You must have the frosted lenses then. My lights have a great spread.

When you are talking about angel eyes, are you talking about the elipisods?

OMFG whats wrong with you people?!@#~~~!@!!! All you have to do is read the website or maybe even the original treads that erik was kind enough to post the links. Moderator please lock this thread

AdMax98 currently we do no thave a solution for that problem. Erik is leaving for vacation, we he returns we're gonna try to solve the problemm

Stillinmax notice the fact that we sell them for much less that the inpro kit.....episloids are 350 by themselves plus the inpro kit which is like another 500. ours is 290 shipped and installed in the stock e36 housing.

max88q we offer that option. goto the web site and READ. the angel eyes alone are 75 bucks + shipping.

Unibomber the e36 lights have a better spread than stock 3/4 gen headlights. especially the highbeams.

iregula and gtr rider, thanks for the support.
