Rode in a boosted Max today...

All I can say is OMG Iansw's car hauls A$$!!! I mean, a 100 shot of nitrous hits hard, but it's not whenever you want it to!!! (well it can be, but ya better have a whole lot of bottles!) It was raining today too, so I know I didn't feel all the acceleration due to tire spin... As soon as this 5spds done... I NEED BOOST!!!

Hmmm...is that why you sold your NOS?

Does this mean the NW will have an addition soon?

You think a boosted maxima is fast, try riding shotgun in a Camaro SS 6-speed

I'd still rather have the supercharged Max.

Boost is awesome I dont regret getting it and have no plans on selling my blower.

Ey blkcat just checked out your page I was thinking of going stockers as well and cut some stock springs and slam it on that and then get some Camber plates to correct camber but 16inch stockers look nice on a black maxima. Nice

No, I sold my NOS to finance my 5spd, which I wanted to get before I added boost, which I now must have...

What does that have anything to do with a SCed Maxima? Well, I can say this if you think that's fast, try riding a 600rwhp Supra. I did.

Z06 is amazing

My girl's dad just got a 2002. He hands me the keys and asked me if i wanted to take it out. You should've seen the look on my face. I really felt it's power when I floored it from a stop. Shot be back in the seat so fast my hands came off the steering wheel for a second. You gotta hang for dear life when you drive that thing. I'd keep the booseted max for the winter/daily driver and the Z06 for nice weekends and summer days.

I hope you guys realize when I said 600rwhp Supra, that's at the wheels. At the crank, it's crazy! You are literally pinned against the seat. I got to admit, when I was in the Supra, I was scared. Btw, the Supra is still a daily driver.

Try the ride in a 1300HP + Skyline GTR Spec V... 4WD... Needless to say, when you get numbers like that, you should stick Warning signs in your car... Only for people 18 and over, 56"tall, not pregnant, not suffering any back or spinal problems

Noooooooooo!! Leave your rims on Jay25! They look great!
I just got 17x8 Momo Sports a month and a half ago. I got tired of looking at my stockers and looking almost like every other Maxima in the city...I took those pics on New Years morning this year.

Those are weak man. Try riding in 1300hp F1 or a Hemi powered sub-4 sec 1/4" dragster. Hell better yet, I bet those space shuttle astronauts are kicking some serious G's on takeoff!

Dyno below showing before and after, and I'm having boost problems (only getting 6, should get 9)

The MEVI adds about 28hp by itself with the SC.

Once I figure the boost out, I'll probably be close to or over 300fwhp.

http://www.cyberhub.net/sc/dyno1.jpg

You should come for another ride mtrai, on dry pavement. I still have your hole saw anyway.

I know where your coming from! Atleast you have had the chance to ride in a supercharged Max! I've wanted to supercharge mine ever since I bought the car. It would take me too long to save up the money though. Atleast you know what it's like riding with one! Wait till Iansw gets that 3 psi problem figured out. I want a ride!

I've been racking my brain for 3 days, and trying all kinds of things, including checking the belt, putting gasket seal on the ambient temp sensor, removing the tube and re-applying it, and re zip-tying every vacuum connection.

I may never get this fixed. I'm out of options.

I didn't, it fit perfectly...but I did use gasket seal on it to make sure no air gets out whatsoever.
