how long did it take for you guys to blow out your stock non-bose speakers?

how long did it take for you guys to blow out your stock non-bose speakers?

so how long did it take for you guys to blow out your stock non-bose speakers? i got my car in february and in 4 months, they are toast. need to get myself some infinity references i think. any recomendations for good speakers that dont need an amp and can be ran off an aftermarket deck?

had the max for over two years and just completely blew one speaker(literally has a hole in it)...going to buy the new infinity Kappas when i have the cash....

Probably a week. Most speakers are blown by distortion Therefore with any aftermarket speekers it is best to have an alternative power source. If not you will never recieve full performace for your speakers and you will continue to blow them regaurdless of the speaker due to the fact your head unit only produces about have the power it states.
