ECU codes 1401 and 1402, please help !!!

ECU codes 1401 and 1402, please help !!!

Hi,

my 99 maxima GXE is death, I can't start the engine... it turns but doesn't ignite. I have read 1401 and 1402 codes from ECU. Does anybody know what these code mean ?

are you sure its 14??? only goes up to 13 longs......

Yeah its strange, but it is 14. I cant find those codes then

... its exactly 14-01 and then 14-02... I did ECU reset and saw 05-05 and then after I have tried to start car the sam code appeared... this is not a mistake...

In the 1999 FSM Codes P1401 and P1402 are
P1401: EGR Temperature Sensor
P1402: EGR Function (Open)

I just pulled P1401 myself and will be investigating it further, so if I learn anything I'll let you know. 14xx codes seem to be 1999 specific so we don't see very much info about them anywhere.
