Yes. I have had mine turned twice in 35k of use. Any rotor will warp..it's just a matter of time.

I've got the brembo 13" cross drilled

on my Gran Turismo kit. Suckers cost $350 each...they better not warp. Well luckily, I've learned a thing or too about brakes and how to prevent them from warping. Follow these two rules as guidelines:

1) Never wash your car after you drive it (when you rotors are warm or hot). The rotors are very hot to the touch and expanded. When you shock them with cold water, they will change shape unevenly. Secondly, the section of the rotor that is covered by the caliper and brake pad will still be just as hot. This is because the pads and the rotor are true and bedded...that means it's water tight right there. This is mainly how rotors get warped.

2) Try and take you last 2 miles (when doing a lot of driving) on your trip easy on the brakes. Give them a chance to air cool. Brake just a little earlier than you would normally.

Overtightening the lug nuts can lead to warped rotors.

After a hard stop, do not leave your foot mashed on the brake pedal. The pads act like a heat sink and can also lead to warped rotors.

Like Kevin posted, cooling them down slowly helps tremendously too.

I just found out that mine were warped so i had them turned and he sent me on my way. Soon as i got on the road and tried braking my car started vibrating bad, so i turned around and took it back to them. The tech took too much off or something like that so i ended up getting 2 new rotors for Free!

I have drilled/slotted brembo's with no warpage problems so far, but it's only been about 10k...
