Question about MaxSpeed Springs!

I just won a pair brand new off of Ebay, for 95$ (With Shipping came out to $125). The Guy on the auction said it drops the 95-99 Maximas about 2 Inches. So how many inches does it actually drop the max? Like 1.9 or something?

I hear Maxspeed is a good namebrand, and ppl said they got them for that price to and are satisfyed with them. Did I make a good choice for the buck? thanx

i have maxspeeds and i am happy with them. I still have a 3 finger gap in the fenders but it better than the fist and 2 fingers i had before. I really like how they sit. Ride is good too.

No, I don't think so. Isn't it the smallest drop out of all of the springs? I know for sure it's less than 1.5.

well if the man went from a fist and 2 fingers in the gap, to 3 fingers, then its gotta be more then a 1.5. The guy woudlnt say about 2" on the auction if it was lower then that. hmm....

Oh okay, I guess so. I know my H&R springs, which have settled for about 1/2 year, still have a 3 finger gap. Maybe my fingers are just small.

maxspeed

nah it isn't a 2" drop, it is about an inch and a 3rd. if that. you should have waited and got in on the group deal. 85 bucks shipped!!or was it +shipping. either way you would have saved about 10 to 15 bucks.

Re: maxspeed

I agreed with Rolondo....it's more like 1.2-1.3 inch drop in the front (3 finger gap) and about 1.2 in the back (3 finger as well).

Definitely not going over 1.5. When I got them, they were advertised as 1.7-2 inch drop, but that's not the case.

Ride quality is good though, not harsh at all.

Well thats good though, i have big fingers and i did this precedure. Mine was all of my 4 fingers and another finger, so its like a fist and a finger. So 3 Inches is straight though, Plus I have 17's and my tires are not to much of a low profile, might look better. Either way, I want the nice Ride and a more stick to the ground feeling and not much body roll. Sometimes i like bouncy rides

I have to agree that the springs do not drop 2 inches...less than that at 1.3 to 1.7 is the most I have seen reported and I do not know what the exact amount was on mine as I had off-standard tires on 15 inch rims when I dropped the car(205/60/15)...but it is very even and very comfortable when compared to other springs...not knocking other brands but for the money they rank high in my book...kudos to Lee!
