tried to install flywheel, advised against it???

Finally took the car into the shop today to have my new clutch and the stillen flywheel put in, only to discover that the bolts on the pressure plates do not line up with the holes on the flywheel. So I called stillen and they said that this was not a problem and that all you have to do is take off the bolts on the pressure plates and only use 6 instead of the 9 you would usually have. Now the two mechanics that did the job are both nissan master techs and they advised me against this, they also called centerforce( the clutch comp.) and they advised against this also. Anyways, i was wondering what you guys thought, what problems could I run into and has anyone experienced these? Also, if anyone knows of another flywheel application out there that fits like the stock one, that would be great also. thanks
