Should I get sprints?

I think I want to get sprints. I hear the drop is by far the best, just the ride is a little rougher. The only problem is, I don't have the money to get the struts right now. SHould I still go ahead and purhcase the Sprints. I need to get rid of this gap......

I just ordered Sprints to replace my H&R's cuz I wanted a lower drop and stiffer ride. $129+ shipping from ALex at Southwest Autoworks, great guy.

If your going to install it yourself then I would do it. If your going to pay a mechanic your wasting your money. Your struts will blow so fast and then you will have to buy new struts and pay the mechanic again. Save time and money and do it all in one shot. By the way I have sprints and the front is really low but the back is really high. Hope you have a system to bring the back down.

You are suppose to cut a coil or two from the back coils to even the drop, thats what Im going to do when I get them.

Not necessarily true. I've been riding with Sprints on stock struts for 5k+ miles now and absolutely no problems. Hopefully switching to AGXs by the end of the summer and cutting the rear coil, but only because I want the ride adjustability.

So you're saying that right now your Sprints aren't cut? Isn't your drop uneven?

You should. I'm going to cut mine in August (like I said), but I don't know how much. I don't want to cut it so that it's perfectly even and then settles and the next day the rear end sags. I would rather the rear be a little high so maybe I'll just cut 1 coil off.

Yea I'm cutting one coil, which should be good. If after they settle the rear is still too high, I'll cut another coil.

I think it's a pretty fair mix... on the highway it's pretty smooth sailing and I know where all the ruts are so I can avoid them (4 lanes to change into after all), but the city streets are really rough, I even got a bubble in my tire form a pothole but the suspension is not blown yet (I got it checked).
