windshiled washer lights

I just bought some windshiled washer lights by BLAZING. I have no idea how to put them on and the things came with very generic instructions. I have a 97 maxima GLE. someone with some similar lights please respond and explain to me how i can install these things without problems. I'm mostly concerned with where to plice into my parking light harness and how to set up the wires so they don't get caught on anything under the hood. please help. thanks

What a coinsidence, just yesturday i helped my friend install them in his Altima. He told me that the shop wanted it for $35, so i said **** that, let me do it. All in all it took maybe an hour longer that expected since i had to think of the best way of doin it.

Well it was real hard to remove the original nozzles, so we pretty much broke them off. Then we ran the wire (this is SOO hard to explain) through the hood itself (at the very back of the hood) to the left (for the left nozzle) and right (for the right nozzle. Then i ran the wire down the side towards the front, then connected them to the corner lights (as specified on the box). It is prety easy, but real hard to explain in typing with out actual picures- hope this helps somewhat...

i did a little research so i could explain it the easiest way possible, i got it down to two steps.
1. return them
2. buy something useful

not to be a jerk, but don't put those on. i almost bought them and now that i see people with them now, am really glad i didn't do it. what color on what color car are they? if you have a white car and put white ones on it's ok...other than that i say don't do it. but, that's just my opinion...

I think we all know #1 is chrome Altezzas. On anything other than an IS300/Altezza, it just don't look right.

OK and there everyone goes, turning the thread to ****. He didn't ask for everyones opinion, he just asked on how to install them. I like the altezzas and the washer lights just for the record but there are somethings that people like and I hate but you don't see my getting on their a$$ about how stupid they are for getting these. Anyway I would search http://www.google.com for install installation. Try the keyword "windshield washer nozzle install instructions". Here is a good one directly of there:
http://www.ptdoityourself.net/ptwasher.html
I know it's not for a maxima but Im sure it's almost exactly the same.
Good Luck,
Paul

I could not agree more! RICE RICE BABY..... I'm sorry man, I just could never do that to my car though, wouldn't want to be one with all the civics with this on their car plus I think that they're FUGLY. To each their own though, just my opinion

the old washer lights are very hard to take off, do not get any other color then white or u will get pulled over, wire them to the signal lights and thats it, i have installed on 3 cars, one galant which was the easiest, a 97 se which was the hardest, and a 01 gle which was not that hard but not easy.

Having blue washer lights is illegal? That would suck, I like those better then the white ones.

I think all Red, White and Blue lights are illegal because of law enforcement signals (Po-Pos, Fire, and Ambulances). I just wired my lights to the Cigarette Lighter fuse in the fuse box and it works great. I also bought a jumbo lighted switch so I could turn them on for show and not have them on while i was driving around. Getting the nozzles to spray well with the needle is a different story. It took me a bottle of windshield wiper fluid to get them perfect!

yes theyre illegal since i am one of those members who got a ticket for them a year ago...and i even had them wired to my OEM fogs, so they came on and off with the fog switch, and i didnt even think they were illegal until i got pulled at a checkpoint...my advice, connect them to sumthin with which you can turn them on and off at will without having to kill the headlights
