Tranny flush is dranining the transmission, (basically cleaning), and it runs maybe $40...or more depending on who supplies the fluid...

Re: Re: Tranny Flush

A Tranny Flush is NOT just draining or basically cleaning the fluid.
When you drain your tranny fluid it empties your fluid reservoir but
leaves the fluid in the torque converter and fluid cooling lines.
The problem is that once you refill and run your tranny the new fluid gets mixed with the CRAP still left in these other areas. So, you don't feel or hear any difference.

Flushing tranny fluid, if you pay someone to do it, consists of hooking up a pumping station to your cooling lines, removing and replacing ALL the fluid in your system.

You can do the same thing with two 5 gallon buckets and 6 to 8 quarts of tranny fluid.... and a couple of long hoses. It gets messy, but is well worth it.

Oil change places do it for $59 to $99 depending on where you live.
It rarely depends on what car you have.

btw, try using Trick Shift fluid or Castrol Synthetic fluid when you change. They are high pressure racing fluids that don't break down under hard driving.
