wattup w/ the click click when engine off
hey guys, i just noticed (after 3 weeks) that my car clicks clicks clicks after i've driven a long time and i turn off car... i noticed this on my mom's '00 Nissan Quest. What makes this sound?

Me thinks it's the sound of the exhaust near the engine as heat dissipates from the metal parts ... click click click.

Does that sound right?

Hey, i think i know what you're talking about...I hear it after a lot of driving, but I never pay any mind to it...

My car makes that noise after a spirted drive. It is normal as the engine is cooling off and makes the clicking noise.

didn't know heat made clickin sounds... but ure probably right cuz i have noooo idea what it could be

the heat causes the metals to expand and contract so what you hear is the metal relieving stress or similar
