Need Intake Help

im looking for an intake but dont know what to get. custommaxima.com has a jim wolf intake that looks okay, but need info. what should i get if im looking for nice growl, nice hp, and under $200? (dont want to drill hole for Place Racing CAI)

i just ordered the frankencar thanx to all the good **** i've been hearin from our fellow maxima brothers. i'd say go wit tha frankencar wit tha midpipe...

CAI??

Im also looking for a good intake system... Im thinking about a CAI so i will need to drill but which CAI do you guys suggest. Also, whats the diff between a CAI and frankencar (like power and reliability) thanks

If you plan on getting a CAI go with the Place Racing CAI (PR CAI). The difference between the CAI and the Frankencar setup is that the CAI is better suited for street/strip racing as the mid range HP gains are higher and the Frankencar setup is better at higher RPMs for example on freeways and such. As for HP gains betweent he two they both offer nearly the same HP gains but at different RPMs. The choice is yours. I am most likely going to choose the CAI due to the mid range HP in street/strip racing. I hope this info helped somewhat...
