Ok, the Maxima has four cams already. When he says "upgraded" he is probably referring to aftermarket cams. And as far as them being out and available..... JWT will have them out in "two to four weeks" according to their sales department. And if I can find the link, I'll post it, but I believe that there is one other company that already sells them for $550 for the set.

 

Go to the shop and take some pics of the work in progress. Then we might start believing you....

just because he's getting cams doesnt mean they will work right I know two Maximas with cams... one couldnt maintain idle but the other has em and they're doing fine!

I wont call BS because i dont think it really matters anyways.. if he can do this then more power to him and for all of us, if this turns out to be nothing then well I wasted a minute posting!

Well, for everyone who does not believe me. I will be getting my car back tomorrow and I am having it dynoed. I am getting up early to go pick it up, then on to the speed shop to get the car dynoed. Then Off to work. I will post pics as soon as i can. Next couple of days. I will post the dyno slips. LIke I said before, Cams are custom, manifolds are custom, downpipes are custom, and pistons are custom, So they are upgradable if you have them made. I will be posting soon, but as of right now I am going to sleep so I can wake up and get my car.

this thread reminds me of someone here trying to do a similar customs job and turned out to be all b/s.
I believe his name was 1/2and1/3theretogo with the dual exhaust. He ended up getting a jeep with a 2' lift

if u know anything about motors you're going to need to break it in...but of course w/ these magic cams and the 8.5 compression u don't have a thing to worry about right?

I've been watching this thread pretty closely. Eternity lives in my area and although I've never met him, Ive spoken to him by email a few times.

I went on a info recon mission of sorts yesterday and today and I was unable to find anything. I made sure to hit all of the performance shops in the area and cruise known "open roads." I also told literally all of my friends in the area with car knowledge to keep an eye out. I know my chances of spotting him arent that great but with weather like we've had here recently, I certainly would be cruising around town in my turbo max.

 

so has there been any updates on this controversial subject yet? im still waiting... very anxiously
