to all with HKS BOV

i'll be getting the hks soon, but i dont understand a few things. i know that you have to weld it on, but where? If its welded where the blitz is, then you cant get to your front spark plugs without taking the piping off, right? has anyone welded it elsewhere?

Sounds like a new or a remodeled pipe will be required since this has to be welded on. Like you said, getting at the sparkplugs and engine cover will be a b*tch.

when your boosting and you let off the gas it helps let out the pressure so it doesnt harm the sc.

Summit Racing sells them for about $200.

You need these only if you have an SC or turbo.

Bosco, Vortech does not recomend the HKS BOV call up the techs and ask them about why. If you are going to get a new one get a Vortech or a Blitz, these will also fit with out having to weld a new flange on.

Depends on the setup. I ran one on my SC setup and wouldnt recommend it. Its non adjustable and is just way too loud when its venting, unless you want all that attention. I also got some compressor surge with it when cruisng on the highway.
