if the Nos is installed correctly..whats the harm of always hitting it expect engine wear?

I think hurting your wallet is more like it . Forget engine wear. I'm going broke filling the bottle every two weeks. As long you are getting enough fuel, nitrous is perfectly fine on the engine.

So if I upgrade the fuel pump & filter then I should have no problem running 55 shot? What do you guys think about 100 shots? Do the injectors need to be replaced as well? Which fuel pump/filter/injectors work well for NOS Maximas?

Jime runs a 100+ shot, and all he did was get 2 step colder spark plugs, and upgraded to a Walbro fuel pump

How much does a bottle of NOS go for these days and about how long will it last you if you ran it at 75 shot?
Thanks,
Paul

You usually don't fill up to 10lbs since most of the time you have 2-3lbs left over. With 2-3lbs left, the nitrous just doesn't hit hard to be effective. The price range from $3 to $4.75 per pound. With 75shot, I guess you can get about 10 good 1/4 mile runs.

walboro fuel pump, www.autoperformanceengineering.com get the DSM eclipse 255lph pump $118 shipped. Stock Filter works fine, though you should probably change it out, or you can use a 300zx filter if you really want to... Stock injectors work fine for 100 shot, though you may want to get them checked out if you have higher milage (75k +) and your planning on running a 100 shot.
