Springs

Which would be the best springs that lower a 98 max 1.8 in the front, and 1.5 in the back? I was thinking of getting h&r sports but do they actually make a big difference in look? someone mentioned that they are 1.4 in the front, and 1.3 in the back, is this really noticeable?

Thats not a nice way to great a newbie.

H&R's provide a drop that makes the car look good, not slammed.
If it's the lowered look your after, then try a different spring such as Maxspeed, B&G, Sprint, Eibach, Intrax.

If you try using the search feature on this board and type in "Springs" you will get more info than you can possibly read in one sitting.

If you check out my homepage, I have pics there with my car on H&R springs and also B&G springs. Pick the look that you'd like and go for those springs.

Welcome to the org.

the H&R's are good springs, the b&G will be a nice drop for you.
but if you say 1.8" then you should go for something like the sprints or intrax to give you a little extra lowering
