Just got my i30 back from the dealer. I had them check out my a/c compressor beacuse it ticks really loud..they said others have had this problem too but it's normal and pressure test was ok. The noise is driving my crazy..you can hear it over the engine/fan when they're on (20 ft away). It sounds like tapping some small hollow plastic..drum?. So question is if any of you guys get the same problem on your 4th gens and if it was ever resolved.

Ooh and for all you guys with the security system...do your LED's blink? mine stays on all the time and becomes brighter when i arm it...but even after 30-40 seconds it still stays lit all the time. normal stuff?

Anybody else's power seat make a metal screeching sound? (passenger side rear tilt)

Noticed while driving on the highway...it seems like it wanders, not pull such as an alignment out of whack, but more random. Reminds me of my mom's van where the idler arm was going out and it felt like an unguided missle (tho not quite as bad ). Soo...any input is welcomed as well.

I'm alitttle preterbed <sp> because soem of the stuff I asked them to look at was overlooked it seems, since it wasn't on the invoice. I know i'm posting a crapload of questions...somebody tell me if i'm just being overly paranoid.

Have owned it for ~1 month and put 2k miles on it, now 46k. So far
-air bag light has come on (passenger side module - replaced under warranty)
-clicking noise coming from interior fan resolved..tsb issued. Apparently from what i gathered the fan hits the case or something.
-washer nozzles adjusted (more pressure)... weird...driver's side is now a narrow V..passenger..wide V, but it works so i'm happy and they replaced my blades .

alright that's all i can gather while on sleep deprevation and work in 5 hours... ugh
